NASA dropped off a ‘65 Volkswagen with a full tank of Gas in Arabia in the hopes a DuneBuggy could happen, in it’s ‘Reach Out’ Effort.

It’s still there, though it appears it’s been screwed up and down allot.

The tracks of the LRRV, and the boulder sampled by Global Warming "Denier" (and only full-time scientist yet to visit the Moon, future Republican Senator Jack Schmitt is seen in the 1972 picture taken by Gene Cernan.
