Lions aren’t humans. That lion is waiting for the opportunity to eat those cubs.
no the lion is gay and sees the taking over of raising his brothers children as his only opportunity to have children
I feel we have to give the left an even bigger feel good .moment in the story about Cecil.
I heard Jack Hanna on TV last night talking about this. What he said was it was possible that at least some of the cubs that Cecils brother is protecting could have been fathered by him and not Cecil or that even if the paternity is in question, even those cubs having been fathered by Cecil, that Cecils brother would recognize the cubs as being more closely genetically related to him (Im guessing by scent or appearance?) than to the other male lions in the pride who want to take it over and hence have a biological instinct to protect the bloodline. I thought that was interesting.
My first thought, the cubs simply haven’t been killed yet.
Besides, females rule the pride and males generally don’t get too close.
Animals can be quite amazing in their nobility; but they aren’t cute little creatures wearing tutus & ballet slippers like Disney movies like to depict them.
