[ Animals don’t “murder.” They kill to feed themselves and their young. Trying to humanize them is foolish.

Lions and other Predators also hunt down the easy targets first (sick, old and deformed young) which help ensure that only the healthy wildebeests are the only ones around to eat the precious remaining grass during the dry season.

Top predators are God’s self correcting mechanism to keep the herbivore animal populations in proper check.
