Donald Trump remembers exactly when he realized his father was beginning to fade. About six years ago, they were driving down Fifth Avenue when he gave his father big news: he had just bought the land beneath the Empire State Building. ''That's a tall building, isn't it?'' Fred C. Trump replied. ''How many apartments are in that building?'' At first, Donald thought he was kidding. But his father, 87, was developing Alzheimer's.
Fred Trump died last June in Queens, at 93. Donald had visited him in the hospital that night and got the call later when he was by himself, high up in Trump Tower. He cried. It was the saddest day of his life, he says.
The son, now considering a run for the presidency, likes to present himself as a self-made man. But how much of him did his father make? Long before young Trump was putting up glass-and-bronze curtain walls on Fifth Avenue and selling apartments for $38 million, his father was putting bird cages in lobbies to dress up Queens apartment houses -- and releasing balloons on Coney Island at the height of summer with coupons inside for $50 off on a $4,990 Trump home.

Getting ready to watch the Bolling/Trump interview coming on now ;-)
Was disappointed. Lots of rehash of old answers
I wish I could but don’t have time.
I saw it a little differently. I saw him touting strengthening our military, as his #1 point, in this interview. He tied it in very nicely, imo, with military strength equaling our nation’s security. He also talked about building the fence, again. That it’s not necessary to build it the entire stretch of border, IF Border Patrol - who, he said are great, is allowed to do their job. That they do a great job of protecting areas of border, when they’re ALLOWED to do their job.
He emphasized, several times, how we MUST take better care of our Vets...how very special they are.
He also talked about repealing and replacing ObieCare. I don’t like the replacing part....I need to see exactly what he’s planning to *replace* with. (I do know he’s mentioned free-market solutions are necessary, to making healthcare affordable AND high quality). Talked about how the worst of 0Care hasn’t even hit...wait a couple of years and see how much worse.
Loved it when he zinged ¡El Jeb! on CommieCore and for lack of energy.
I thought, overall, he seemed very relaxed yet more focused...not jumping around within topics, as he has done in past.
Just my 2¢ :)
All true but said in other interviews. A least he is consistent! LOL

Trumps weakness is same as mine
Split tails
Like me I think he’s done with all that
I hope he is
Cool article with lots of pix! Photos are what the DailyMail does best deep journalism and good grammar, not so much. Here's another good DM article:
'I wanted to create a lasting legacy for her': Donald Trump dedicates second Scottish golf course to beloved mother Mary
THANKS. For posting!
That is one of the things that so appeals to me about Trump as a person and also as a potential candidate. His is an immigrant family just one and two generations back, but also with a long intergenerational pattern of hard work to accomplish things. I have always been particulary impressed by how The Donald has show himself just as supportive of his oldest daughter as he is of his older sons. The younger two kids may not be ready for prime time yet, and Tiffany seems more artistic than business-oriented, but clearly, they all have a hands-on dad. I'm especially impressed with his "no drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes" values.
There is an old saying, "If you want to make a gentleman, start with his grandfather." This family embodies the value of the long game, building for posterity and for those who will come after us.

Her son is also outstanding.
Remarkably the more I dig the more stunned I am....
Thanks. Things get sloppy on new tablet early in AM
For some reason it will not transfer a link no matter what adjustments are made
A really CLASSY family. Which one of the candidates said Trump had no class. They should have done some research. He is not BlueBlood but a very intelligent hardworking example of the American Dream
Did you see the thread where groups were forming to support him. One out of Hollywood were going to do videos. Said his life in military school would be good for a couple. A rough time
What are “split tails”?
This one. We might as well add pictures to our stories. The picture with Grahm, Palins, Greta and Trump explains the warm hug he gave Greta after her interview
Tie is Samaitans Purse I would bet
Birds of a feather do flock together....
True. True! Am now looking for material at his time at military school. He had gotten into trouble and that was the consequences his dad gave him. Comments made it was very formative
