I’ve got Tinnitus, but I try not to focus on it. My own little white-noise generator that never turns off.
Would be nice if there was a usable treatment.

They don’t say how it works. Any diminished hearing with that? Can you still find your way home to Capistrano?

It probably overworks the auditory section of the brain so that it just ‘turns it off’ for those frequencies, but as noted will come back after six months......................

Not available in the US but
Neuromod Mutebutton.
The magnetic pulse device sound more like a US medical solution - requires a big expensive device only useable in a clinical setting with multiple treatments where the effect fades if not periodically repeated. Otherwise, where is the revenue stream going to come from?

... 18 of them discovered that their tinnitus symptoms were considerably lessened for six months.
So this experiment had to take place at least six months ago - and more likely last year - but I haven't read a word about it until today.

Please add me to the ring list.
I have tinnitus associated with migraines, but the annoying volume comes and goes, I can live with it. My BIL, though, gets serious tinnitus at times.
We happen to live in Oregon, and many of the doctors around this rural area went to the Oregon medical school mentioned in the article, OHSU. It’s part of the University of Oregon system.
Do you know what’s worse than tinnitus? Rin-tin-tin-itus. Thats where you hear a constant barking in the ears.
