On another thread, they noted that PETA was protesting this book, due to the fact that they go to a pet store to find a pet. PETA is on a crusade against the pet store industry and is appalled that there is a children’s book making a trip to a pet store seem ok.
Geez, some people can politicize anything, even a Dr. Seuss book.
