Be freindly with everyone, intimate with few.
I think that is basically good advice. I have found by being somewhat open with people you can really make good connections. I’ve only started to do this more so in the last few years, and one can really see they are not so alone in the world when open and honest. It’s even helped me in school when writing with openness and candor. To put my heart in it, so to speak. But you do have to be careful. There will be people out there that don’t have good intentions or have misunderstandings.
