Of all the changes pending at MSNBC I have yet to hear anyone talk of getting rid of Sharpton.
He is controversial and he has very low ratings. As they evaluate the future of their channel, how can they just make him immune to changes????

Why don’t they just admit that their network is a reality show
and re-name it Real Jackasses of New York City?

Canning the good "Reverend" would have the same effect on the black community as another "gentle giant" slaying.
Sharpton is the gibmedats voice for the people.

Al Sharpton is useful to Obama. PMSNBC dare not can him.

That’s a very good point. Toure is a loud-mouthed idiot, but no one really pays attention to him. Sharpton is an even-bigger loudmouth, AND he’s caused real harm to people with his actions over the years.
