Of course people would be offended with the thought of any great sinner escaping the fires of hell. However, such an offended person runs up against the thief on the cross and such statements as: “even if your sins be as scarlet.” In short, scripture is not clear as to who will and will not escape.

True. However, there IS a PNR. I myself would not want to presume upon God’s kindness and mercy.

I accepted Christ as my Savior on August 18, 1962. So I’m not talking about ME. I’m concerned about the person out there who may be presuming they have all the time in the world.

I’ve heard it explained thusly: An unsaved person is like a driver whose vehicle is sitting across a set of railroad tracks, and a freight train is barreling down the tracks toward him. He has two choices; he can move off the tracks and be safe, or he can stay where he is. But while he’s deciding, he is IN the worst of the two choices.
