Trump has been fun to watch but Cruz needs to find a way to ease him off the stage. Trump is a buffoon and will eventually be seen as such by the voters. He has made good points and has spoken truthfully. But he will never be president.

Watched don-o (I mean Donald) today giving Linda the business. No idea how this all turns out, but I am gonna enjoy every minute of it.
A politician could do worse than to discover that truth gives him mileage that lies don’t. The system seems to be working as it should right now... rewarding those who present the best ideas in the marketplace.

Somehow, I see this as a very wide door opening for my guy, Ted Cruz.
I don’t pretend to understand all the behind the scenes machinations in play, but I believe in Ted Cruz.
I think Donald Trump is sincere, and he’s a good (OK, great) businessman.
But he doesn’t know our Constitution, nor is he as sincere a CONSERVATIVE as my guy, Ted Cruz.
I’ll watch this as it play out but, in the end, I’ll vote for Ted Cruz as often as the law allows.

The two do not seem to be rivals in a sense of criticizing one another. There is probably some synergy in the cards. Trump could use Cruz’s wisdom and Cruz could use Trump’s verve.

That has a biblical sound to it as well... though personally I hope Trump comes to a better knowledge of the Lord than that He is memorialized (in his Presbyterian heritage) as wine and what he calls a cracker and in that context actually is a cracker.
