A 5 minute diatribe against Donald Trump. Totally unbelievable from the mouth of seriously over-exposed Brit Hume. Anyone close to Bush gets the same treatment in an overt or cloaked way. Check it out: Cruz, Walker, Paul, anyone....who isn't Bush... (Bush on the other hand is a genius, etc.)
He's so far up Bush that his head is visible in Jeb's mouth when Jeb speaks. Same with Rove.
I wouldn't vote for the Bush dynastic continuation if Jeb were the ONLY candidate running on either side.
Just the other day he spoke in favor of transgendered troops. Absolute sell-out.

I still cannot figure out how anyone could have considered Jeb a viable candidate. Clearly, any supporter of Jeb wants the democrats to win.

I really thought Hume had his act together until I heard him denouncing Trump yesterday for his (Trump’s) comments about McCain; I mean, yes I really appreciate McCain’s service to his country, but a hero? No, a hero saves someone’s life, or kills a bunch of the enemy or something...just because someone gets captured does NOT make him a hero in my book. Add to that the fact that McCain finished near LAST in his class at the academy, and the fact that he never would’ve even made it there had his father not been an admiral, plus the fact that McCain has been a total LOSER as a senator, makes me think Trump is actually onto something.
Hume is automatic mute button or channel change material. Hugely overrated and predictable.
Fox news is GOPe. Watch BoR tonight and he’ll be trashing Trump too just like he did Swift boat vets for truth

Don’t forget the Keating Five and how the McCains tried to intimidate the doctor who treated nitwit Cindy for her drug addiction...and how he treated his first wife. Nancy Reagan hated him for that.
None of us want to speak ill of a POW, and I do think there’s a sense in which an honorable POW is living a heroic life every day.
But we don’t believe collaborators are heroes, even if we do understand the difficulty they were experiencing.
Now, there’s no absolute proof that McCain was a collaborator, but we do have an unusual number of vets who speak ill of him.
I’ve never heard the same thing about Admiral Stockdale even when he was Ross Perot’s VP candidate and political enemies would have had reason to bad-mouth him.

The heroism isn’t being captured. It is being willing to go and fly behind enemy lines, knowing death and/or torture awaits if you are shot down - and being shot down is not something you control. It is also in enduring as much pain as you can before you break.
When an Lt, I met a few Colonels who had been POWs in Vietnam. They said “WHEN you break, not IF”.
And someone can think Cruz and others are better than Trump without being GOP-E. This insistence that anyone who doesn’t agree with you 100% - even if they agree 95% - is an enemy is ridiculous.
If the choice comes down to Jeb or Hillary, I’ll vote for Jeb. Don’t like him. Don’t want him. Will give to other candidates - Cruz being the most likely right now - but I won’t sit out an election that has Hillary in it!

From the day Fox went on the air...through maybe 05 or 06...Hume was the best anchor in the biz and no one else was close. The 18 minutes from 6:42 thru 7pm EST was MUST SEE TV - the Fox Panel.
But in about 06-07 and certainly by 08, both Hume and Krauthammer had slid considerably to the left and much closer to the establishment mindset. I guess those cocktail party invites were damned important. It’s been downhill ever since for both men, and it’s getting worse. I never watch FNC anymore.
Brit spends a lot of time in Boca Grande FL. a playground of the Bushies. I’ll bet they’re buds.
I was replying to #12. Bud Day shared a cell with John McCain. He knows more about McCain’s action in Hanoi than any other man - and George Day’s record is pretty impressive, both during AND after the war!

Get your news from FR, Breitbart, and Drudge, your commentary from Victor Davis Hanson, Mark Steyn, and Daniel Greenfield(and lately Ann Coulter once again), and listen to Rush and Mark Levin. Especially Mark Levin.
