Not exactly shocking, but depressing nonetheless. Seems as if the ADL wants to compete against J Street for the dishonor of being the furthest left Jewish organization in the U. S., despite the fact that last week the ADL said it had some "concerns" about the Obama administration's Iran deal.
It wouldn't be surprising if the two of them merge at some point.
I see.
I can understand leftist politics in supposedly do-good outfits
as long as they do what they claim they do!!
but with ADL, and I applaud what good work they DO do, they do NOT deliver or, imho, even seem to do anything at all.....to help innocent people who are under assault from anti-Semitic government personnel
maybe you know someone who did get some help from ADL, there MUST be some people who have......hopefully, hopefully, anyway
but just between you and me... do NOT count on ADL if you ever need any assistance defending yourself against discrimination of any kind...............they may review your case and agree you’ve unfortunately got a very good one.....they may assign you an “expert attorney” and they may SAY they will help you..... but then.....forget it.
They just might do NOTHING... just keep you waiting to hear from them... and then not answer your queries... all the while promising... well, you get the idea.
As far as I go, there are many other organizations one can donate to. ADL sounds good, given they’ve pretty well occupied the ‘anti-discrimination’ turf in the public mind........................but sounding good and actually helping people in trouble.............are two very different things.
IMHO, your mileage may vary.
his organization formed an interfaith coalition to defend mosque construction elsewhere in the U.S.
A US controlled atoll somewhere in the pacific would be the only locale acceptable to ME
