They were poorly worded remarks but I doubt if it will have any impact on his polling. Anyone who was a Trump supporter before those remarks is not going to change their mind because of them. They know that he did not mean to disparage all POW’s, and it is highly likely that any Trump supporter cannot stand McCain.
The big loser is Walker by joining the bitchfest against Trump. He disappointed a lot of his fans.
You are absolutely correct!
“I prefer those who weren’t captured.”
That’s not so poorly worded. I think it’s kinda funny.
“The big loser is Walker by joining the bitchfest against Trump. He disappointed a lot of his fans”.
Perry is the one who acted like an overgrown kid after somebody steals his marbles. Mr. 1% in the polls started off the summit today blasting Trump for a good five minutes. Hero this, hero that, Trump owes McCain and apology and owes all veterans an apology, he’s not qualified to be commander in chief, blah, blah, blah. The old ex democrat went on and on. The only one that came out looking stupid was him. It was just the opening for him to try and get back at Trump for calling him a failed governor on border security, which he was.
There's almost a method to the madness here, because once these bozos step out to attack Trump, it's guaranteed to put them in the sissy wing of the party. By the way, I didn't see the remarks. I will have to look for Walker's statement.
“Anyone who was a Trump supporter before those remarks is not going to change their mind because of them.”
Also, before people condemn what Trump said, they need to watch the interview in its entirety, and in context. It was said tongue-in-cheek.
