'That is brilliant C. Trump and Jeb are on opposite sides of the issues and yet you equate Trump supporters just as likely to vote for Jeb."

Trump is an admitted Democrat. Put aside what he's saying today, and his record and history are liberal. That's fact, whether you choose to face it or not.

'It is people like you who will give us Jeb. When a candidate other than Trump who is advocating the issues important to our future, shows he can win the primary, I will take notice."

Oh, no, you don't. I will be damned if you're going to put that on me.

If you choose a sideshow candidate like Trump over the best conservative since Reagan, and you lose, you better put the blame squarely where it belongs---right on yourself.

"As of right now it will be Jeb or Trump, I choose Trump!"

Why would you choose a Democrat?

"Now show us who else has the support and $$ to beat Jeb?"

I keep hearing that...Cruz has no support. Apparently you don't understand how that works. You don't stand back with your arms folded, waiting for someone else to support him. You get behind him yourself.

If we want this country turned around, we better pick a Constitutional conservative this time around, or we are screwed from here on out.

"End game here is who can beat Hilliary?"

Cruz.

After Trump has served his purpose, Cruz will still be the cool, sharp, brilliant conservative mind that he is.

" It won’t be someone with single digit support from Republicans and almost zero support from everyone else."

See above for instructions on how that "support" thing works.

And it's a lie that Cruz has zero support. There are a few, shall we say...easily distracted types who have been drawn to the shiny new thing and can't take their eyes off it. Rather than give it proper due, they've built it up into some superhuman savior of the world (sound familiar?)

But when the dust settles and those folks realize Trump can't calm the seas anymore than Obama could, they'll probably come to their senses.

"I am a realist and the thought of Hilliary as president is to horrible to risk by supporting someone who can’t even win the primary let alone the election. Two terms of Obama made me a realist."

A realist?

A realist understands that voting for any Democrat gets you the same results.

"Trump is not perfect but he is a formidable fighter and he is fighting for us on the issues we want fought. He can win and that gives me great hope. Also the fact no one is going to buy Trump is huge and should not be overlooked."

God, the hero worship in that paragraph alone.

Cruz won't be bought, either; he has integrity. Trump? Not so much.

The issue isn't that Trump is less than perfect. The issue is he's a liberal. If you expect different results, you're in for a world of hurt.

"Here is Hilliary’s election strategy in a nutshell. “I can be bought!” Only Trump can kill that monster of buying the Presidency. How many times we going to let that happen? The GOPe is part of that problem. We must end that now."

That's a convenient excuse for supporting Trump, and I'm seeing more of it.

Dumping the best candidate since Reagan because he has an R after his name makes no more sense than voting for a RINO because HE has one.

"So you choose....hold out for the impossible dream, or Jeb or Trump? Every choice other than Trump gives us President Hillary."

There's no impossible dream. A Cruz presidencyc can easily be reality. It's up to folks who are caught up in this cult of personality over a Democrat to wake up and get behind a conservative.

Or not. But you aren't going to blame the rest of us when it blows up in your faces.

Ok you make your choice, I have made mine.

If Cruz shows at some point he can win the nomination I will reevaluate but I don’t see that happening. A good man with some flaws but not going to win this primary. Hopefully things will change enough under a Trump win that a man like Cruz can win the GOP nomination in the future.

When it is evident to you that it is going to be either Trump or Bush, I hope you will support Trump. Hilliary must not become President and another Bush will just about as bad.

Good day...I am off to my daughters for a nice dinner and two questions she wants to ask me, this will be interesting.
