Meghan McCain, the political scion who has won public fame as a blogger, commentator and TV-show host, will join Fox News Channel as a contributor, Variety has learned.
A spokesperson for the network confirmed the hire. McCain is expected to contribute to the networks primetime and daytime programming.
McCain, the oldest daughter of U.S. Senator John McCain, a Republican, joins as Fox News Channel, like other news outlets, heads into a frenzied pre-season for the 2016 election for U.S. president. She could team up with Shep Smith and start a new “Gay Today” show. At least you know there be no sexual scandal betwixt the hosts.

I wonder if they told her that if she’s going to be on TV, she’s going to have to lose about 40 to 50 pounds.

So they boot out Sarah Palin and bring in Meghan McCain?
Until there is a competitor to FoxNews from the right, the network will keep going left. They locked in the right-wing audience since all the other networks are left of Lenin, so they keep gaining left-wing audience the further left they go. It makes business sense. It sucks for the country.

Tennessee Williams had her number. And isn't she just perfect as a character of his.

I can’t believe that they let her stay on after she called Tucker Carlson a “bow-tied white boy.” Such chit must be good for ratings, I guess.

The only difference is that Olbermann is actually entertaining. I used to love tuning in to watch his head explode whenever the Left was having a bad day.

Once upon a time I watched Fox News religiously.
Get most all of my current news from talk radio now.
Hiring this opinionated, inexperienced McCain idiot can not help Fox News one bit.
Maybr a one time tune-in for comedy relief for her pretentious, ignorant babble, but she isn't even qualified for the bottom of the barrel "news" outfit, MSNBC.
