Furthermore, it is well known that every NYC public library has computers for the free use of patrons. Of course, you probably wouldn't find these same people in a library, so they wouldn't know that.
Way to go, Commie Bill DiDumDum. A $5.9 million payoff to the family of the slain career petty criminal Eric Garner, who was worth far more dead than alive. Now allowing bums to jump subway turnstiles while the rest of us have to pay and pay for that public transportation, now equipped with extra criminals to jump US after they jump the turnstiles. Now allowing bums to piss in our streets, alleviating the need for expenditures on public pools, right? We can practice our backstrokes in the foaming yellow mess they leave behind. Allowing students who screwed around all year in class to then "pass" the classes by attending 18 days of summer school to artificially boost graduation rates--no wonder it just came out that 78% of city college students have to take remedial courses---which are basically highs school courses taught at a much more expensive rate, causing the taxpayer to get hit twice for the same stuff. Allowing the city which clawed its way out of a fetid 1970s morass of filth to slip right back in will be the legacy of this oversized moron.
People sitting around on their asses all day now can sit around the internet too!
No wonder so many social media sites have become so ghetto over the past 4 years. Free or easy access brings trash by the truckload.
Gotta get me some broadband for FREE. Wait. I need a router for FREE. And I don’t have a wireless laptop so gimmedat laptop for FREE. And all my kids need IPADS for school for FREE. And gramma she need a new IPAD for free. Anything less is racist.

The fight is over the Internet. That is why they are trying to control it. That is why they want LIVs and other liberals to have better access to it.
Starbux and other cafes in my neighborhood recently put up signs saying seating is for customers only, and one said no outside food or drinks. People try to use them as a public place to get the WiFi. Everyone already has the hardware, so it’s now the access that must be free. For some. Starting with the poor, you will notice. The city was at one time providing it in parks but that was not good because it was universal.
Yeah...we miss you!
Or taking a college course online to better themselves.
