I work for a large company that takes a long time to adopt new software due to the time it takes to verify that it works and is safe.

Our company is just now moving to IE 11.

So I'd say that it is a safe bet to move to IE 11 so long as you get the latest/greatest version.

IE 11 is used where I am but a lot of times some internal sites have to be run in compatibility mode.

When and if that doesn’t work, Chrome saves the day.
