I thought the biggest question is...WHY are people still using Firefox: the same browser which ousted the conservative co-founders of the browser after he came out against faggot marriage?

Because on Windows devices, the alternatives are from Microsoft and Google, who have their own problems along those lines. In the case of Chrome, more harvested personal information is a side effect. The smaller players (Opera, etc.) use the engine from one of the big three.
