Why would you take a lion hors d’oeuvres to camp in the woods?

These house pets love being in the woods. They just don't understand what's at stake.

Up here in Northern Minnesota I've had big labs in standoffs with bears and wolves. Usually results in a draw.

Little dogs don't get it. They need to be attended.

Yes, they need to be attended. I wasn’t suggesting he leave the dog home alone for a few weeks while camping. That’s why there are kennels, neighbors, and friends.

Then again, Dachshunds were originally bred to hunt badgers and such. Like they say, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.
