The Chronicles of Narnia film series has been somewhat at sea since The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010), the film adaptation of the third book published in the fantasy series.
With a Blu-Ray edition of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader to be released next week, Narnia fans are wondering whats next for the series. Christian viewers in particular are concerned if production changes mean the books spiritual themes will make it on to the big screen.
Reports in 2011 suggested that book six the creation-myth prequel The Magicians Nephew might be adapted next, rather than book four, The Silver Chair, which follows Dawn Treader both in terms of narrative and in publishing order. ...

In the next C.S. Lewis movie, the lion will come out of the wardrobe and declare himself gay.

Yes, that would be correct.
Anyone who does not go along with this, must be a hater.
I doubt if there will be.
Hollywood will not do any more films with Christian overtones. The Tolkien cycle has ended. "Left Behind" bombed in the theaters. And as the actors in Narnia grow up, popular demand for them will fade as well.
There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, in the end, “Thy will be done.” All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened. C.S. Lewis - The Great Divorce

Why do Christians always have to be the tail and not the head. Surely some Christian film producer can take this on and retain the true message of Narnia.
The Great Divorce is my favorite Lewis book. Max McLean and his company faithfully perform both The Screwtape Letters and The Great Divorce. I recommend his live productions in lieu of any hope that Hollywood will produce new Narnia movies. We have our visual. That’s good. We need to let go. BTW, the Magician’s Nephew is probably my favorite Narnia book.
I’d like to see Perleandra, in which the Eve of Venus is a purple woman who lives on the ocean. Prof. Ransom (JRR Tolkien) is sent there to save her from temptation by the devil.
put me down. i can’t wait for the silver chair. i wanna see a drunken marsh wiggle!
true words.
A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell. ― C.S. Lewis
In Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis makes this statement, "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic--on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg--or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us."
LOL!
The first movie was amazing, the second was ok. The third movie was a travesty. I don’t think I can bear it if they ruin The Magician’s Nephew.
A respecto- wiggle.
a reshpek-a-biggle!
Wonderful book. But she's green, not purple.
