Spring Arbor college is bringing this guy back to finish his education.
I pray it works out well for him.......He'll need support, lots and lots of support and I hope he gets it.

Spring Arbor is a fairly good place for him. Its a small rural community where he can get sober and stay sober if he really wants it.

(Sad fact, most people just want a candidate to tell them what they want to hear)

He’s a piano player, not a pianist. Talk about dumbing music down. Too bad he isn’t black. He’d really be in the big time.

I hope he is able to use his gifts (both from God and the people who have helped him) to turn his life around.

Our local college is giving him a free ride to college at Spring Arbor Christian College here in Michigan. He went three years then left after his wife died. He fought depression, drugs, etc.
Gofundme fund has raised 30K for him.

How did he keep in practice? I used to play 15 years ago, but then work and family meant that I play maybe once a month and I can feel how sucky I play. And this guy is GOOD!

well, let's not get carried away -- what he is doing is amazing -- practicing and playing when he is homeless. It shows determination, grit, strength and talent.
He is a good pianist and could be very good, but he's not "fabulous" -- that being said, I would pay to listen to him because he is good and because of HOW he became good.
I would call him a fabulous person

Am hoping he meets up with his son...which might prove his greatest means of support and reason to maintain himself.
