Even in his era of Hollywood, I doubt there was enough men of good character to fill a Volkswagen. Or women.
He is right.
Exhibit#1: Ellen Degeneres
But most people, comedian or not, are not beautiful.
That quite possible.
I thought he might be referring to Stand Up Comedians. I just can’t recall any women who did stand up comedy attractive or beautiful at all.
Unbelievably beautiful people are rare enough. Much more common in the context of Hollywood, true. Unbelievably beautiful people that are funny are even rarer. Much more common in the context of Hollywood, true. But there are still many more unbelievably beautiful people who aren’t funny, right?
I guess I must be missing something or maybe my standard of funny and unbelievably beautiful is too high. And I could care less what this stiff says, but he even said ‘usually’ not ‘with out exception.’

I don’t either.
I find it interesting that so many people pay attention to what a CEO would have to say.
I guess back in the day, people like Alfred Sloan and Henry Ford were in the news. But I don’t recall people getting so worked up over what they said.
Not that those two were good guys.
Number one, the fact that there is a gathering called "the Aspen Ideas Festival" is one of the funniest things I've ever read; number two, Eisner looks like Wil Farrell's even uglier father; and number three, why did he bring up this nonsequitur? Was he just flirting?
Tina Fey is neither funny nor beautiful.
Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner believes women are rarely both funny and beautiful.Speaking with Goldie Hawn at the Aspen Ideas Festival, he said: 'The hardest artist to find is a beautiful, funny woman.'
“Funny men usually aren’t handsome either.”
Exactly! Even just nice, normal looking men aren’t considered funny ... they have to sell themselves harder, i.e., Jimmy Fallon.
Liberalism IS a mental disorder.
And the even shorter careered Sharon Tate had a lot of comedic talent.
yeah... and naming actresses who are funny in roles is not the same thing as actresses who are funny offscreen. actresses ACT. they read a script written by somebody else. if the writer of the script writes funny lines, that doesn’t make the actress funny. Sofia Vergara is very attractive and gets some funny lines on her sitcom. that doesn’t mean she’s funny in real life. i suspect not. i’m sure she occasionally makes a funny joke or clever comment on her own. everybody does that. but being constantly funny? very unlikely.
Oh my gosh. Laugh out loud funny!
In any case you would have to think unattractive people get comedic roles because they are actually funny waaaay more than unbelievably beautiful people get them because they are actually funny.

And then there are the 99% who are neither funny nor beautiful/handsome... Oh well, life goes on...
I think people don’t realize how beautiful Lucille Ball was, because she was always being so silly. But she was very lovely, and Desi was very handsome.
Cuban men, muy guapo!
“George Clooney is handsome and he is funny in the Coen Brothers movies.”
An idiotic leftist, nevertheless very handsome and truly charming. And hilarious in “Oh Brother Where Art Thou?”
Hubby and I just re-watched this the other night. It’s very good and the music is fantastic.
“What are odds of being a good looking man and have a high IQ? Not much.”
My mother told me years ago that the idea that the good looking are not smart, and vice versa, is not actually true when you look at the stats.
That may also be in part because very intellectual people don’t put too much thought or effort into how they look.
