My daughter had a nasty seal point Siamese. Used to jump up on the counter and stick her ass in my face. The rougher I was w/ her the better she liked it.
We now have a stray, ex-pet, male. He acts like a dog. Follows me around the yard, etc. begging for a petting. Can't pet him enough to satisfy him.
Cool cat, lives outside, we feed him, he doesn't bother any of the birds, raccoons, fox that roam through.
My brother and all our friends have a specific term for this technique of "cat training".
"F.A."
That is shorthand for "Forced Affection". Every cat my brother meets is picked up, put into a supine position, held, and not allowed to be released... until my brother has sufficiently been bled enough.
It establishes rather quickly the relationship that is to be had between the human and the human's master.
