I think the implication was: “Don’t worry white people, the victim wasn’t white, nothing to see here.” If the attacker was white and the victim was black it would be the national outrage of the week with wall to wall television coverage but since the attacker was black it was not a national outrage, it was not a hate crime and it was not a civil rights offense.

This video went viral on youtube, so the media controllers saw that they had been blindsided by the new media. They head to get out ahead of the crisis so that white America would never see any incidents of white victims of black crime. We are only supposed to see black victims of white injustice, then it becomes a televised national story. That is the narrative that we have been seeing for many years—black victim, white racists. This one went against the narrative so they had to work quickly to change peoples’ perceptions. Whites must always feel guilty.
