Absolutely not true. The cigarette was dropped in a lavatory trash can and fell between the can and the wall.
And for God’s sake. I flew on flights where smoking was permitted in the mid 1980s. I reeked of cigarette smoke, had holes in my skirt from lit cigarettes and had horrible chest pains from filtering the cigarette smoke through my lungs.
