No, Oracle bought Sun. There is a big difference because there is a huge difference in company culture and strategy. If Oracle didn’t buy Sun this never would have happened. Sun had a certain philosophy about Java. Can Larry Ellison decide he wants to put the genie back in the bottle? That’s why what Sun’s position before Oracle acquired it is important.

That’s what I meant. Someone said Sun owned Java, not Oracle. I was just clarifying that Oracle now owns Sun.
