pato, that is a hateful and hurtful post, especially to those of us who had a aged parent abused by such a person.

Wishing someone is abused when they are helpless and in their final days is needlessly cruel and not Christian.

An apology is in order.

Don't sweat it, no apology is in order or forthcoming and that's alright. If the posters didn't deduce that I was talking about people who display the kind of behavior that merits deportation then that's my fault, and as such an apology should come from me for not choosing my words more carefully.

I didn’t imply abuse. Putting somebody in their place is a verbal act, letting them know they are wrong and that you absolutely disapprove of their actions or words. Tongue lashing. Givin’ them both barrels. Instead of focusing on the intent of my comment, you go deep left field about a small group of words, completely disregarding context. Your knee jerked and your misinterpretation of my words are your problem, not mine.
