Government jobs and the military will screen for religion. Belong to the wrong church and you’ll be gone.
That could be a good thing in multiple ways - Christianity does better when it is oppressed. Facing overt leftist discrimination is better than our faith dying slowly in indifference.
Not far fetched at all, although I think the primary weapon will be legal attacks and charges of hate speech, at first. Physical assaults on a large scale will come later if there are any Christians left standing.
True. Might be what we needed to end the complacency and apathy about saving souls.
Actually conservatives should be part of that chaos.
The new Inglorious Bastards.
Bump.
Homosexuality is like pornography or shacking up. It may be legal, but it doesn’t make it “acceptable”, no matter how much they try. And it is imperative that we make that point very clear at every opportunity. Silence is acceptance.
We should use terms like “Real Marriage” or “Godly Marriage”.
“To all of the immoral people who voted for this party and president who put immoral, Godless judges on the Supreme Court causing this to happen, you are responsible to God for what you’ve done.”
Well, Reagan put Kennedy on the SC. Just sayin’.
(And I bet he is second-guessing THAT selection!)
“Christians who refuse to accept all of this will either be beaten and have their assets seized, or killed.”
Well, if multiple tens of millions of Christians are stupid enough to just roll over and let a tiny minority slap them around... or they can come out roaring like lions.
There are underemployed activist lawyers who will ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO MAKE MONEY from this charade by LOOTING THE BANKRUPT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT by highlighting perceived or actual wrongs. The debt will be placed on the shoulders of our children and their unborn children, in a kind of perverse slavery, or at best, indentured servitude.
Please tell me I am wrong. I hope I am wrong.
And judges who will rule favorably...
I’m expecting to see another kind of chaos descending.
People who formerly believed that America was a land of laws and not men, governed by the consent of the people, rather than a corrupt oligarchy where the people are routinely subjected to the whims and fantasies of our “rulers”, can no longer continue to operate under that comfortable illusion.
They will be tempted to “do something about it” in ways that previously would have been considered unthinkable.
It’s one specially- privileged group after another. The group is officially designated as a victim group and it acquires the right to bump normal people out of the line. It can claim offense or injury at anything a normal person does.
Next is BI. Then polygamous. The goal is to turn them all against the normal people.
I don’t think it is far-fetched. But I do think in terms of order of precedence of threats, it isn’t first on the list.
I believe our financial system is really about as stable as that of Greece, and our government, the Federal Reserve and the market are all cahoots to prop it up so that the sheep can still be fleeced.
Meanwhile, any worthwhile programs or efforts this government actually has that do good are being defunded in favor of entitlements - this is never ending and always escalating despite what our simpering coward RINOs in Congress do or say.
When you couple this with this tyrant’s rabid determination to legalize 20-50 million (I believe) illegal aliens and to push the bounds of entitlement and traditional American decency in favor of perverted deviancy then you have a breaking point that comes much sooner than just pure moral decay.
We won’t have time to see the progressive effects of this gay marriage thing. We’ll be too busy trying to get what pittance we’ve saved out of an empty ATM when the Chinese, or whoever comes calling with a dun on our notes.
Remember this one thing if you can’t remember anything else. When the EBT accounts don’t get charged up that first time, all hell on earth breaks loose.
Actually conservatives should be part of that chaos.
**************
I don’t disagree but the fact that the Tea Party wasn’t able to sustain and grow the movement calls into question conservative willingness to fight back. Even amongst the conservatives I know, there is little appetite for meaningful resistance. It seems that Americans are more interested in their daily comforts and diversions than they are in securing freedom for themselves and their children.
And then there’s the problem of normalcy bias to overcome. Inertia is a hard thing to break.
“The Supreme Court decision will bring chaos to the U.S. very soon”
The vast majority of Americans have and will rollover to the dictatorship and destruction of the Constitution.
need to start turning their argument against them:
1. I wasn’t hired JUST because I’m NOT gay. Being unqualified, incompetent or bat crazy has nothing to do with it.
2. I was fired JUST because I’m NOT gay. Being unqualified, incompetent, bat crazy or trying to force everyone else at work to lovingly accept and/or participate in homosexual behavior has nothing to do with it.
And teaching about homosexual sex will now be a part of Sex Ed taught in schools
