Prof. Magnusson and colleagues reached their findings using 2-month-old male mice, which were randomized to be fed either a high-fat diet (42% fat, 43% carbohydrate), a high-sugar diet (12% fat, 70% carbohydrate - mainly from sugars) or normal chow.

What is 'normal chow'?

70% of dietary intake from sugar? Wow.

Hey 1010RD:

This article boggles the mind. It is awful! No definition of the diets, no definition of good bacteria vs bad, etc. From what is printed here, absolutely no valid scientific judgement can be made.
