Thank you for your correction.

I was basically saying Reagan didn’t FIGHT in the military. My point in bringing Reagan was to illustrate that Norm (other poster) can’t attack someone’s credibility by using military service as a litmus test as he tried to do. His argument was a red herring and I maintain that Romney would have been far far better on foreign policy than the muz-sympathizer. I don’t think anyone can argue that point effectively.

By the way, for Reagan to be making military films isn’t exactly risking his life like the guys who went to WWII, Vietnam, and Iraq.

I don’t fault Reagan for that. Anyhow, there are certainly many other politicians who haven’t served in the military who don’t deserve to be maligned for not serving and could be strong on foreign policy:

Think Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz and Mitt Romney are about as far apart on important key issues as Mondale and Reagan were. Romney is a NE Liberal Elite a silver spoon My Turn Liberal just like Da Bush family.. IF Poppy Bush had been able to contained his thousand points of NWO self and simply followed in and continued the Reagan Legacy many things we see and live under today would probably not have happened. He would have won a large landslide over Clinton. But he only lost his second term because of Perot /sarcasm. George Herbert Walker Bush, and Anthony Kennedy, & Sandra O'Connor were the three greatest and most damaging mistakes Reagan made in eight years.

When GOP runs Liberals in the general election which they have done since 1989 the left squeals in demon delight because their candidate like Clinton did twice will run center to slight right. Bob Dole fought in WW2 but I would not have wanted him as a POTUS. The disgusting 1996 GOP Convention of Freaks was a turning point for me in my straight ticket GOP voting.

Reagan though not a perfect man had wisdom, the ability to appoint a competent qualified cabinet, and a love for GOD and this nations best interest. The last president to understand and more importantly respect the boundaries of what his position was in government was supposed to be and oversaw the Executive Branch accordingly was Reagan.

BTW I think in a real sense the Olichards running this nation for the past 25 plus years have simply drawed straws as to who would be the faux POTUS. Look at what happened. Bob Dole ran such a pathetic campaign he had to try to loose and did. McCain? Can anyone reasonably explain why he did what he did? Anyone remember the Fred Tease which basically derailed any others chances? Romney same thing. Our two party system is a one party oligarchy. We can not continue on this same course. Each election the GOP nominees take the party and nation further and further left as the Dems also move further left. Thus we have Obama. Remember McGovern and Mondale lost because they were Fringe Leftist. Obama is far left of what they were and the GOP has helped bring us to this point in history by not fighting a Conservative Battle. They fight against Liberalism like they are Drag Queen Fags in a Powder Room.
