It is EXACTLY the same thing. He said it when a group of men were about to stone a woman to death for adultery, yet they were guilty of the same thing themselves.

Learn yer damned Bible. He did NOT mean this to mean one cannot observe sin in another and comment on it.

"From this passage we learn that we do not accuse others unless we first thoroughly search our own hearts and minds to make certain that we are pure in every possible aspect (Matthew 7:3). Also, if we must admonish someone, we should do so as instructed in Scripture; we always look to God’s glory and never cause unnecessary division or harm (Matthew 18:15), but we do work to keep the church pure."

If we could not criticize someone because we are sinners, there would be NO criticism or moral direction.

I have no problem with criticizing promiscuity. It is wrong. it is harmful. it is sinful. It leads to many other problems. What i do have a problem with is bashing and bashing a pregnant woman who has already admitted she made a mistake. SHE DID NOT DO IT BY HERSELF. But I see little or no criticism of the father. He deserves MORE criticism since she is the one paying the price and he is the loser not standing there supporting her.

I say we stone him, as the Law of Moses demands.

Well I will leave you to His judgment. As long as you feel good about yourself keep on bashing Bristol. I mean, maybe if you criticize her long enough you can un-ring her bell, so to speak.

The POINT of righteous criticism is to help someone change. It is not to punish them. That is not our job. She already admits her wrong. Continuing to criticize is just cruel and probably also hypocritical.

But by all means, go ahead and bash her. And I will in turn bash you and you will in turn bash me. Ask yourself, which of these three (Bristol, you, me) have redemption in mind? Isn’t that what God’s ultimate goal in all things He does?
