You’re not suggesting different human races are the result of selective breeding, are you?

That would be the effects of natural selection in different climates and locations.

And the first dog I grew up with when I was small was a lovely, infinitely patient and attention-loving lady basset.

What else do you call millennial of self selected breeding if not selective breeding? I didn’t day we cant or that there wasn’t some. Sure we interbred. But to a limited degree. Same thing today to a lesser extent even with the ability to circumnavigate the planet in a day.

When new worlds were discovered, there was no mad rush by anyone to greener grass.
