There is no purpose greater than fantasy.
The false argument that because there are lots and lots of stars there must be lots and lots of planets like earth which are capable of sustaining life has led to nonsense science like AGW.
There is NO evidence out there that life exists except here on earth. You can keep looking all you want. I don’t have a problem with that but let us not be so silly as to make a dumb argument. Sagan was an atheist and a drug user. He was not really a great scientist he was popular.
