For someone (like me) who enjoys the old standards, you can’t beat Jo Stafford. The best, by far. And I came across her by accident; I was doing a Doris Day search, and Jo Stafford came up as associated artist.

Jo Stafford was my father’s favorite. I have some of her albums that belonged to him.
