How do you know with certainty from that brief encounter that the guy was undocumented when he apparently produced some sort of docuumentation to the pharmacist?
I did not get that impression at all.
Read it again:
“Trump, who announced his candidacy on Tuesday, said in his hour-long speech that Mexico was “not sending its brightest minds to the U.S., instead it was sending drugs, crime, and rapists across the border illegally,” Fox News Latino wrote.”
I believe he is 100% right on, with that.
Send us immigrants, it sounds to me. But we want good ones.
Not sure how anyone, of any race/ethicity, can take issue with that.
You’re saying ONLY documented immigrants have access to benefits?
That’s every politician I’ve ever heard speak on the subject. Most of the FReepers too. When you start talking about putting wealthy business owners in prison for hiriing illegals, almost everybody shuts their pie-hole.
“Trump........ Mexico was “not sending its brightest minds to the U.S., instead it was sending drugs, crime, and rapists across the border illegally,”........
Pretty hard to dispute that statement.
The big guys always insulate themselves by using subs.
I asked you the question first: Why did you conclude that the person was an illegal alien?
“Now, that still doesn’t explain why someone like Trump would use this as an agenda.”
You mean he’s exploiting the open borders issue for personal gain? Please. This is not the only major issue facing us nor is it the only one Trump is talking about, not by a long shot.
Seems to me the ‘agenda’ if you want to call it that, is - as Donald puts it - to make America great again’.
What do you mean by using the illegal invasion as an ‘agenda’?
You are right. I live in the heart of this illegal mess and of all the Americans (of Hispanic decent) I know all hate illegal immigration because they know exactly whose jobs are gonna go bye-bye to the ‘wets’.
Black Americans better wake up to the song and dance too, because those that want to work will not find jobs or will not be able to compete wage wise.
Dear Cring,
With all the knowledgeable out of work Americans, in all the employment fields, sending in immigrants is not the answer. ain’t no American pride when a country sends in a greaser to fill a spot more deserved for a ‘homeboy’, first.
America for Americans, first!
I’m a nationalist, and not afraid to say it.
I live in a University town that is loaded with legal immigrants — students, faculty, research assistants, etc. — who can’t speak English in a comprehensible form. Also, I had a similar experience while LEGALLY traveling through Europe when I needed to fill a script at a pharmacy for an anti-biotic.
Trump just tells the hard truth. Mexico is exporting the dregs of their society to us. So is Central America. It has to be stopped.
Maybe we shouldn’t be letting in immigrants who can’t speak English and refuse to learn. There are people who’ve been living here for 20 or 30 years and still need an interpreter. Everyone wants to come here; why not take in the cream of the crop? Why not take immigrants who will assimilate and learn our language?
But I agree with the other Freeper. The person in the story was probably illegal.
This is Mexico and other Latin American countries taking a big dump on America
Arrest and prosecute the lawbreaking employers, at whatever level they are at.
I don’t think we should start with jail time, but some serious fines would deter plenty of them. The most important part of the illegal labor issue is that it undermines wages for American workers. On top of paying the illegal lower than prevailing wages, those workers have an automatic wage rate advantage due to taxes not collected.
I have listened to Trump beat up on Obama over and over again and what surprises me is there is absolutely no peep of racism. That really has me stumped. It is as if they are afraid of Trump. They are afraid of picking a fight with him.
