It was actually kind of funny watching blacks on twitter go from cheering when they assumed it was a black “warrior” to outrage that they hadn’t killed him yet when it was discovered that it was a white guy.

25 years ago, a similar situation happened in NYC, Badlands, a notorious gay bar in the West Village, a block from where the Village People did YMCA, one of the first music videos shown on MTV was shot up. About a dozen people were shot, but no one was killed. Needless to say, the gay rights groups were up in arms over this, and they really went nuts when it turned out that the suspect was a preacher's son. The hysteria got even crazier when during the course of the news cycle it was revealed that the perp's father was not just any preacher, but an NYPD Chaplain. 48 hours after the shooting his mug shot appeared in the Daily News and the NY Post and sure enough, if 0bama had a son.... Suddenly, nothing to see here, move on, never mind....
