They’ve actually never gotten along, but have tried to maintain the appearance of solidarity. “Gay” men and lesbians routinely segregate their hangouts/bars/clubs. Many homosexuals privately disparage “bi’s” as being impure pretenders. “Transgenders” are surprisingly not unanimously accepted by many homosexuals, believe it or not.

Are they trying to convince others they have pride in what they are or are they trying to convince themselves? I’ve seen news coverage of some of these events and some of the participants make Lady Gaga look normal.

Does anyone know how to pronounce LGBT? I think acronyms should be pronounceable if possible. How about if I buy a vowel? Give me an “A”. How about LaGBaTs?
