Apparently the History Channel feels the need to perpetuate the idea of eternal black victim-hood, just to make sure people don't get too comfortable seeing how many successful, wealthy and prosperous black people there are in the world and in the US in particular.

Otherwise; people may "forget" that there were black slaves at one time and start to think that success is achievable for anyone who wants to pursue it. They are just doing their part to ensure the grievance industry continues to thrive.

I gave up on the History Channel years ago. It was my favorite and the main one I watched.

H2 was really good too once.

I have been trying to sound the alarm regarding what a THREAT Liberal control of media is and has become.

This is another example of where the information broadcast to voters is intended to deliberately manipulate the debate towards favoring Liberal ideas and policies.

The complete truth, or even the other side of the story, is contrary to their preferences, so they filter it out constantly.

In this nation, Liberals have total control over free speech in the only way that matters. By controlling the Transmitters, they can filter out conservative opposition to their claims, ideas and policies.

We have all got to start realizing that Liberal control of all forms of broadcast media *IS* the cause of most of these other problems. They alter the debate at the fundamental level, and we have to acquire a voice to rebut it.

No voice, no rebuttal, and Liberalism takes and holds more ground.

The left is constantly at it to make sure we don't forget. In fact, they never shut up about it.

I am s sick of “black” slaves. One of my ancestors, who came over on the Mayflower, was an indentured servant. That, too, is “slavery.”

But he is the only one I know of for sure — there may have been many other “true” slaves in my ancestry, but he is the most recent.

And by the way...slavery in America? How about the Native Americans who were here to greet the Europeans? Some of my ancestors were here to meet those who crossed the oceans, so I get a little “testy” when the word “slave” comes up. No one has the lock on the board for that, in this country or any other.

Lots of Africans were sold into slavery by family members.
