On a basketball forum I frequent the subject of lack of attention to female pro players was broached. I opined that their potato sack uniforms might have something to do with it. If I can be so crudely male chauvinistic and sexist, men like to see a little leg on females.
My remark was met by a chorus of posters who called me a sexist (rightly so) who said men should watch the women play no matter how they were dressed. These people are living in a bizarro world. Men will NOT!! watch women they deem unattractive play sports. Thems the facts...sorry if it offends some people.
The author also overlooked the self-evident fact that men play at a higher level than women. People enjoy watching the best quality of play because it is the most entertaining. Higher level of play will always attract more spectators, irrespective of gender.
