How could any reasonable person not give Josh the benefit of the doubt given his confession, forgiveness by the sisters, and his responsible life that he is now living?
Because of how devastating the crime of sexually molesting children is. When you are convicted, you become labeled with Sex Offender —— FOR LIFE. Even the Christians.
It would be foolish for you to go on the registry, search out the sex offenders in your neighborhood, realize that the old man who makes cookies for your son is a RSO, and for you to give him the loving benefit of the doubt and continue to allow your son to watch Paw Patrol with him in his apartment.
Even if he was super sorry for his previous crimes. Even if he was forgiven by a past victim.
And we do NOT know if he is left alone with his daughter(s) and how he behaves with them.
Many people have presented reasoned, factual arguments regarding the extent and severity of the events. Josh’s sisters have publicly stated the extent of the infraction and have defended him (his repentance from sin and salvation) and moved on. Yet you persist in a witch hunt. I will pray for you Yaelle, that one day you can understand the forgiveness of sin in Jesus Christ, who turns darkness to light and arrests the power of Satan over men’s lives with the power of God!
