Of course, with Laz nagging over his shoulder all the time, its kinda hard to tell what bkepley actually does want. ;o]He wants to be an a-hole.

My daughter could get along in Russian and French. She picked up Spanish in about 3 months, although she didn’t get really good at it until she went to the Foundation.

I can’t access your daughters web page. I’m sure she’s not sloth but a chip off her dad’s block. Dad must be very proud of her.

Cats are sneaky. I used to like the way Uncle Duke described it. Cats are "an especially tricky people."
Of course, Uncle Duke was talking about the Chinese under Mao, but I think he'd have said it of cats as well.

BTW: I don’t know if you’ve seen Louis CK’s “Everything’s great and nobody’s happy” routine, but my daughter took a printing camera down to Colombia this time so she could give photos to the kids in Planeterica who would never have access to see her blog on tumblr. The Pastor from Medellin was looking at the prints and saying, “Can’t you get better quality?”
I said, “When was the last time he saw a printing camera??? Jut getting the prints right away without having to bring a printer isn’t good enough???

Is a printing camera like a Polaroid?

Actually, Polaroid made the one she had. But it’s not using film that processes itself, it’s using thermal paper. The camera actually holds about 10 sheets and prints the image. The technology is called ZINK for Zero Ink.

It was the first I heard of it, too.
I imagine the photos fade, but for many of these kids it may be the only picture they get - especially of this age.

I don’t know what I did, but whatever it was, I can’t get IE to become my SE. It is frustrating because I need familiar screens to help me navigate.
Any hints?

I’m not a big fan of IE. Do you mean it doesn’t search the correct search engine when you type search text in the address window? Or do you mean it’s not the default when you click a URL from somewhere else but inside the browser?
