A lot of inbreeding, and it’s ruined them, imho. That’s what they’ve done with purebreds for years. They’ve done the same with purebred dogs, too.
I saw a web site awhile back that showed many breeds of dogs and how breeders had altered the breed.
My Old English bulldog is an attempt to return to the original breed. She hasn’t had near the health problems the breed is known for.
