Looks like there may have been an escape from Dannemora in 1914.
Ebay was selling a poster: “Up for auction is a 1914 Reward Poster for Escape from Clinton Prison in Dannemora New York for a Mr George Vogan. It measures 8.25 x 12.75 inches and is in nice condition with mailing folds and a couple edge tears”
