Even with full socialism, the poor are still poor and unequal. What's the point in Obama's efforts to bring the rich down to the level of his voters (except, obviously, so his people can control the loot)?

Every socialist country that has ever existed produced a domestic nomenklatura. Socialism is not about equality. It is about central economic planning, the ultimate form of power.
