It’s pretty simple to see where they got the figure if you look at the donor list and the amounts given to them by WEDC.
It’s interesting that no one wants to deal with the -7000 jobs lost that cost 975 million.
At least that is a valid critique that Walker will need to answer. The answer is pretty straightforward in the report I told you to read: http://inwisconsin.com/inside-wedc/impact/ (click to download report). "In FY14, WEDC invested in contracted projects that will result in over $1.6 billion in capital investments in Wisconsin." (note that is in the future) OTOH, the report points to just 306 jobs created (in the past). So Walker will need to defend his program, not against talking points, but against those facts.
