It’s a perfect place for Hillary to announce her Free Stuff campaign. I heard on TV that Roosevelt Islamd was formerly named “Welfare Island.”
It had prisons and insane asylums on it, the remnants which can still be seen. So, in a sense you’re right - perfect for Hillary. But it’s a small island and a little hard to get to since the tram was taken down - so I feel sorry for the residents (who have an amazing view of NYC).
