Well, plenty of politicians manage to obey the laws without any problem, they aren’t that hard to follow. You can have your staff work on your campaign, but NOT while they are being paid to do government business. You can use private email for your campaign staff but NOT to conceal government business, or to conceal work done for your campaign using government resources.

Trying to equivocate on this in order to excuse Walker just makes us look just as scummy as the Democrats.

***

Please know some facts before you post.

Walker's aide was unjustly convicted for working on another candidate's unrelated campaign, not his. In fact, Walker supported the other candidate.

The liberals and the media in Wisconsin (but I repeat myself) have propped up this lame story for 5 years. The Milwaukee County DA has been illegally leaking material to the media while pushing to have materials seized in secret John Doe made public in dribs and drabs to perpetuate the image that Walker has done something wrong.

Now, you have morons on this forum (and I do mean to use that term) attempting to dredge up this non-story because they prefer another 2016 GOP candidate.

It isn't equivocation, but using bogus slimy tactics make YOU look just as scummy as the Democrats.

FULL DISCLOSURE - Even though I live in Wisconsin and am proud to have Scott Walker as a personal friend, I am a Cruz supporter.

So what is your opinion of the WEDC investigation that turned up 19 million dollars in payouts to Walker supporters? Walker was removed this week from the chairman position of this agency he created.

“It isn’t equivocation”

Sorry, but the poster I responded definitely was equivocating... “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” is exactly that. If you want to argue that Walker and his aides didn’t do anything wrong, then fine, I don’t have a problem with that if you can back that up.

However, if you want to say these laws are so hard to follow that we should just ignore people who do violate them, then you are equivocating and excusing criminal behavior.
