I no longer have fun with the Rep calls for money, I just slam the phone down these days. They just don’t get it. Times have changed, I can donate directly to the candidate I want. They are obsolete.
I realize that. just looking at it objectively, there is zero way that what they do/say is based in love, and therefore, contrary to what they protest, there is nothing biblical about it, if it’s not grounded in love.
SrB gave her Covenant lecture last night, I had heard it before, but it is awesome. I knew where she was going with it all, but could not have given it. It begins with God’s Covenant with Israel and ends with the Covenant of Love that Jesus made with us. If we do not love, then we are not in Covenant with Jesus/God.
Why not? Isn't it a fleer republic?
(By the way, that single-person, 50 knot “solar-powered airplane” running on fleer solar energy had to fleer the clouds and storms in front of it and cancel its next leg. By the time it crosses the Pacific, it would be quicker to have taken a clipper ship, a few thousand tons of freight, and a few hundred passengers from China to London ...)

I certainly agree that Catholic haters are out like I haven’t seen since the late 60’s-I was young and easily shocked then, but I’m now-cynical, so I just wonder why they can’t find something to do that does not involve criticism and hate this time around-that isn’t going to work any better than it did the last time...
Maybe another reason: Conservatives have more gravitas. I have to fleer (if not retch) every time a liberal opens his/her/its mouth:

The finally called this morning to say my test results were all normal. Probably, just an infection. Possibly, some stones were passed. Who knows. Infection is gone right now and I feel normal, too.
Probably + possibly = we don’t have any idea, but as Hillary says, what difference does it make-as long as you are done with it and feeling like you should, something worked...
I pray for no relapses. Been there done that, want to be done with it.
According to the results of recent survey analysis, choosing "normal" as a response just means you're confused about the choices available to you.
Normal for some is bat sh!t crazy. I feel great! Is that better?
The choice of not being normal is only offered to you by those who insist that you must choose sides.
It is for this reason that I tell people I am a poet. It sounds meaningful, and they stop bothering me.
