I think this incident, if it happened at all, is just another indicator of a rising level of animosity in the US towards duplicitous Muslims period.

I couldn’t care less about this dim bulb, but a couple of things do make me wonder. I must admit that I rarely fly United. But I fly a LOT on most of the remainder of them.

First, most won’t give you a full can of any soft drink. They pour it over ice and it is at most 1/3 of a can. Second, I have never had them give me anything unopened. When I am in first class I always ask for a couple of the small bottles of Jack Daniels and a glass of ice. They insist on cracking the cap before they give them to me.

Maybe full cans unopened is a United thing - but I have not seen it on any other airline.

Thanks I was thinking the same thing. Muslim women are lucky if they can get through the day without being stoned much less being chaplains. I don’t think there is a word in Muslim for “chaplain” anyway. The flight attendents always open the drink and hand it to you as far as I can remember. Half the flights they pour it in a plastic cup.
