Sheered = Sheared
Back in the olden days (I’m talking ancient times! With typewriters!), we writers had crusty old editors who would bash our heads if they found us using “sheered” instead of “sheared”.
Ah well, those days are gone. But hey, at least I still have my teeth... :-)
